Weber, Rev. Gordon A. Of Milwaukee, died on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at the age of 82. Fr. Weber was born on April 20, 1927, in Milwaukee, the son of Nicolas and Blanche Weber and beloved brother of the late Fr. Donald N. Weber. Fr. Weber was a follower of Jesus Christ and ordained a priest, February 17, 1952. He studied at Marquette University High School, St. Francis Seminary and Marquette University. His assignments were St. Catherine Parish, Milwaukee; St. Mary Parish, Elm Grove; St. Frances de Sales Preparatory Seminary, Milwaukee; Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Milwaukee; St. Mary Parish, Menomonee Falls; St. Eugene, Fox Point; and St. Mary Parish, Waukesha. Fr. Weber will be missed by his cousins, former parishioners and many friends. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for Father Weber will be celebrated at 7:00PM on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. The Most Reverend William P. Callahan will preside. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009, from 3:00PM until the 7:00PM Mass of Christian Burial at the church. A private family burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee. Father Weber had been living in an apartment in Waukesha. Father Weber's brother, Donald, was also a priest. Donald passed in May 2007, just shy of the 60th anniversary of his ordination.
